tan tui is translated from Chinese to English as 'spring legs'. The fighting form of this martial art incorporates simple movements that are easy to learn but difficult to master.

hou quan is translated from Chinese to English as 'monkey boxing'. This martial art style is dynamic and fast, using agility and speed to overcome opponents while staying relaxed. At Meridian Gate Kung Fu Center, the monkey style taught will focus on six forms.
